The IDF stated: "The attack on Basij forces continues in western Iran as well: Watch footage of the elimination of a soldier from the Basij unit while he was guarding an entrance post in one of the unit's bases. Throughout 'Operation Lion's Roar', the IDF is conducting an organized and continuous effort to target Basij unit forces and their infrastructure. Yesterday (Wednesday), the Air Force identified and attacked a soldier from the Basij unit while he was operating in a guard post in one of the unit's bases in western Iran. The IDF is acting powerfully against regime forces, including the Basij unit, when the day before yesterday (Tuesday) Basij soldiers operating in more than 10 different positions deployed throughout Tehran were attacked. The IDF will continue to monitor, locate, and attack regime forces, including the Basij unit, wherever they operate."
