Israeli journalist Mannie Fabian shared that following an Iranian ballistic missile attack on Israel, IDF Spokesman Brig. Gen. Effie Defrin held a press conference announcing that Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir was conducting an assessment and approving future operational plans.

Defrin declared:
