Retweeted by @hey_itsmyturn from @SnakeDocTop: It cannot be said with certainty which direction the course of events will go, but the cleansing of most or all Iranian islands (except Qeshm and possibly Kish) from the Islamic Republic, and even its expansion to points inside mainland Iran, is not unlikely. Therefore, a few additional points to these war-related recommendations:
1. Ground combat is vastly different from the air combat that has been ongoing so far: it is absolutely not precise or a calculated quagmire to avoid avoidable civilian casualties. The goal will be to minimize the attacker's casualties, and you may easily lose your life, and there is nothing to see. Your home is the safest place.
2. If you live on the islands, southern coastal areas, or near Isfahan nuclear facilities, be more alert to the course of the war. Continuous and unceasing explosions from one direction (more than half an hour), hearing weaker but more numerous explosions, the presence of fighter jets at low altitude and especially helicopters, continuous disruption of mobile and landline phones, and local power outages are possible signs of the start of ground operations in your area. If you have a plan to go out, wait at least two hours until you are sure of the matter.
3. If you are forced to travel on roads in coastal areas or the discussed zones, be very alert to your surroundings so that you do not suddenly find yourself in the middle of a military column. Be mindful and instead of asking what that dust behind or in front of you is, quickly go from main roads to side roads, move at least 300 meters away from the intersection, get out of the vehicle, and distance yourself from it, but do not hide yourself or your hands.
4. If you suddenly find yourself in the middle of a military column, immediately take the vehicle off the road, stop, get out, and distance yourself, and again do not hide yourself or your hands.
