The guided-missile destroyer USS Mason (DDG 87) is actively supporting the U.S. blockade against Iranian ports and coastal areas, according to U.S. Central Command.

As of August 7, CENTCOM forces have redirected 51 commercial vessels, disabled two, and boarded two to enforce compliance with the blockade.
