The previous withdrawals of tankers over the last 2 editions of this post are now well and truly being reversed, with nearly 2 dozen airframes having returned to Europe in the last week, at the same time as the US is indicating intent to resume combat operations in the near future.

To date, there have now been 340 KC-46/KC-135 tankers that I have tracked deploying into Europe/CENTCOM at least once during the Iran War (increase of 11). 87 of these have deployed twice or more (increase of 25).
