Sh1n reposted a report from @DefenceGeek stating that four F-35A fighters had departed Lajes Field (LPLA) for the final leg of their delivery journey to Europe.

The aircraft departed in the following order:

  • F-35A "RETRO61" — L-026 🇩🇰
  • F-35A "RETRO62" — FL-014 🇧🇪
  • F-35A "RETRO63" — JF-509 🇫🇮
  • F-35A "RETRO64" — JF-511 🇫🇮

Two KC-46A tankers supported the flight from Lajes. The report said the aircraft were expected to reach their new homes within hours.

The repost also quoted @x_diogo_01, who documented the four aircraft taking off from Lajes Field on October 23, 2026, in the same departure order.
