The U.S. naval blockade against Iran remains in full effect, according to U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM). Since July 25, 2026, 12 commercial vessels have been redirected, two disabled, and two boarded for violating the blockade. The oil tanker M/T Charminar was boarded in the Arabian Sea, while the M/T Lavine was disabled in the Gulf of Oman after attempting to breach the blockade.
