CENTCOM Says U.S. Forces Redirected 144 Commercial Vessels Under Iran Blockade

U.S. forces had redirected 144 commercial vessels as of Oct. 31 while enforcing the U.S. blockade against Iran, according to CENTCOM.

U.S. Central Command said U.S. forces had redirected 144 commercial vessels as of Oct. 31 to ensure compliance with the U.S. blockade against Iran.

CENTCOM posted footage of a U.S. Navy helicopter operating from an aircraft carrier and stated:

A U.S. Navy MH-60R Sea Hawk takes off from the flight deck of USS George Washington (CVN 73) as the aircraft carrier supports enforcement of America’s ironclad blockade against Iran. As of Oct. 31, U.S. forces have redirected 144 commercial vessels to ensure compliance.
