A post by @manniefabian, reposted by Sh1n (@hey_itsmyturn), reported that the Israeli military announced the deaths of two Hamas commanders in recent strikes in the Gaza Strip.
The IDF said a strike on Saturday in Gaza City killed Mohammed Halawa, a Hamas intelligence officer. A separate strike on Thursday killed Ahmed Zahir Fuad Abu-Odeh, described as an engineering officer in the group.
The IDF said:
"Throughout the war, and particularly recently, the terrorists advanced attacks against IDF troops and Israeli civilians and acted to restore the capabilities of the Hamas terror organization, in systematic violation of the ceasefire."
The military added that the two men were killed to "remove the threat they posed."
