Civilians near the site were urgently asked to leave the surrounding area and move to safer locations before military operations begin.

According to the report, the strikes are in response to recent attacks on King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh. It remains unclear whether Saudi Arabia will undertake further retaliatory action against the Houthis in northern Yemen or whether the strike on the installation will be the only military response.
