Sh1n reposted a report from @manniefabian stating that Hamas Northern Gaza Brigade commander Izz al-Din al-Bik was killed in an overnight Israeli strike in Gaza City, according to Palestinian media and Israeli leaders.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Israel Katz announced that al-Bik was targeted and killed after allegedly helping advance attacks against Israeli forces and recruit new members.

Palestinian media reported that the strike hit an apartment in Gaza City's al-Nasr neighborhood.

The IDF had not issued a comment at the time of the report.
