The imagery shows four impact points along the runways, effectively disrupting the ongoing restoration effort. Several pieces of engineering equipment involved in the construction work also appear to have been hit.

The message seems clear: a warning to Turkey against altering the current Israeli-Syrian status quo.

That being said, one question remains, if the runways were already undergoing extensive reconstruction, what was the operational value of spending munitions to crater them?
