Iran's state-owned Mehr News agency reported via Shin (@hey_itsmyturn) that explosion sounds were heard from the sea direction near Sirik in Hormozgan Province, Iran.

The agency stated the sounds may be related to clashes or an exchange of fire in the Persian Gulf or Strait of Hormuz. The post also raised the possibility of a ballistic missile launch from Sirik.
