Multiple petrol stations in Tehran have been reported out of service or shut due to fuel shortages.

On Aug. 25, Shin reported the following stations out of service:
- Pasdaran
- Mirdamad
- Shariati (Park)
- Damavand
- Mirza-ye Shirazi
- Dolat

In a quoted post, Shin wrote:

Honestly, been a couple of months that I gave up on taking DJT seriously, but this, is kinda true.
Economic situation in Iran is going south quickly, and nationwide petrol shortage is not that far.

On Aug. 26, Shin reported that Farmaniyeh petrol station was out of service. Potypto wrote (translated from Persian):

Farmaniyeh petrol station ran out of petrol from 9 PM.

On Aug. 28, Shahriar Petrol Station was reported out of fuel and shut down. Long waiting was also reported at the 2370 petrol station on Shariati Street, with 53 cars queued.
