Sh1n reposted a report from @AlexiaNoel94927 stating that Pakistan said its air defenses intercepted eight drones launched from Afghanistan on September 23. Six were intercepted near the Torkham border, while two were detected roughly seven kilometers from Kohat and reportedly neutralized through “soft-kill” electronic countermeasures.

No casualties or damage were reported.

Footage circulating online appears to show one of the recovered rudimentary drones, but the location of the footage has not been independently verified.

The incident follows renewed fighting along the Kurram frontier and Pakistan’s September 21 airstrikes in Afghanistan, marking a further escalation between Islamabad and the Taliban government.
