A map created for illustrative purposes uses OSINT flight tracking data to show a surge in NATO air activity around Poland, Germany, and Denmark over the last few days. The activity comes amid Russian sabotage operations, UAV and missile incursions across NATO's eastern borders, and ongoing air defence missions under Operation EASTERN SENTRY and NATO Air Policing.

NATO comments suggest the movements may have been a couple of different unannounced exercises over the 3-day period, featuring assets from across Europe.
