MSB announces that the Patriot system is being deployed to Malatya
Turkish 🇹🇷 Ministry of National Defense:
"The Turkish Armed Forces maintain full resolve in ensuring the security of our country and our citizens. In light of recent regional developments, necessary measures are being taken for the security of our borders and airspace, and consultations are being held with NATO and our Allies.
In addition to our national measures, NATO has increased air and missile defense precautions. Accordingly, a Patriot system assigned to support the defense of our airspace is being deployed in Malatya.
While maintaining its defense and security capabilities at the highest level, our country will continue to evaluate developments in cooperation and consultation with NATO and our Allies, and will remain committed to regional peace and stability."
