Kuwait’s Ministry of Interior has released chilling details regarding the 4 infiltrators captured earlier this month. Interrogations confirm they are members of IRGC sent to carry out 'hostile acts' within the country.
The Arrested IRGC Members:
- Naval Colonel: Amir Hussein Abd Muhammad Zarai
- Naval Colonel: Abdul Samad Yadollah Qanawati
- Naval Captain: Ahmed Jamshid Ghulam Reza Zulfiqari
- First Lieutenant: Muhammad Hussein Sohrab Foroughi Rad
Two others, Captain Mansour Qambari and boat pilot Abdulali Siamari, fled the scene during the initial skirmish.
The incident occurred on Bubiyan Island. The group used a rented fishing boat to enter Kuwaiti territorial waters illegally.
Upon discovery, the group opened fire on Kuwaiti Armed Forces. One Kuwaiti soldier was injured in the line of duty before the 4 suspects were neutralized and detained.
