Huge UAV attack on Erbil, Koya, Soran, Kormor, Khalifan and more in Kurdistan Region of Iraq; jets are intercepting UAVs coming from Iran.
On July 27, 2026, jet activity and UAV interception were reported in Akre, Dohuk, Kurdistan Region of Iraq (KRI). The situation came after an initial report by @hey_itsmyturn of a huge UAV attack on multiple locations in the region. The quoted post stated:
