DefenceGeek reports that USAF KC-135R Stratotanker 63-8017, which was involved in the fatal March 2026 mid-air collision that destroyed sister tanker 60-0347 "ZEUS70", has been detected pinging on the ground at Tel Aviv Ben Gurion Airport (LLBG) with the callsign RCH564. This is the first time the airframe has been observed since it made an emergency landing at LLBG with part of its tail missing. The new callsign suggests the aircraft may have been repaired and could soon return to the continental United States (CONUS). The post was retweeted by @hey_itsmyturn.
