Islamic Republic of Iran negotiator Kazem Gharibabadi stated that Iran, Qatar, and Pakistan held two meetings today in Islamabad. An urgent monitoring channel will be formed by tomorrow, July 2, 2026. Talks also covered spending a portion of the initial $6 billion in Iranian assets currently held in Qatar through approved goods purchases for Iran. Qatar maintains that the funds have not been transferred to Tehran.
