Sh1n reposted an assessment from @DefenceGeek questioning whether the United States may be preparing to pull tankers back from Al-Udeid Airbase (OTBH) in Qatar.

According to @DefenceGeek, a small number of tankers flew non-aerial-refueling sorties during the previous 48 hours from Al-Udeid to Tel Aviv Ben Gurion Airport (LLBG), using their usual tanker callsigns. The aircraft reportedly delivered unidentified cargo—potentially personnel or equipment—before returning to Al-Udeid.

@DefenceGeek suggested that the flights could indicate preparations to move the 25+ tankers currently at the base if hostilities with Iran resume, as occurred at the start of Operation EPIC FURY. However, the observer stressed that the number of movements remains limited and their purpose is unknown:

HOWEVER, I do emphasise that thus far the movements are few in number and this may not be the purpose for these flights... we shall have to see!!
