The IDF attacked eight bridge sections that served the Iranian terror regime for transporting combat equipment and military gear. The targeted bridges were located in several areas in Iran including Tehran, Karaj, Tabriz, Kashan, and Qom. The armed forces subordinate to the regime used these crossings even currently for transferring combat equipment and military gear, and for advancing terror activity against the State of Israel and additional countries throughout the Middle East. The crossings were attacked with the aim of preventing regime forces from using them to transfer equipment and combat means. Prior to the attack, measures were taken to reduce the chance of harming civilians, including advance warnings, use of precise weaponry and aerial observations. The IDF will continue to operate against any infrastructure that serves the regime's armed forces for military purposes as well as for advancing terror operations against the State of Israel and countries of the world.
