The IDF: "The IDF attacked a strategic research and development site used by the Iranian terror regime to develop components for nuclear weapons production in Tehran. The 'Malek Ashtar' university site was used by the military industries and ballistic missile array of the Iranian terror regime for the development of components for nuclear weapons and weaponry. 'Malek Ashtar' University is subordinate to the Iranian Ministry of Defense and is under international sanctions due to its decades of activity in advancing the nuclear program and developing ballistic missiles. The attack constitutes another layer in the ongoing effort to undermine the regime's ability to advance towards acquiring nuclear weapons, and joins the series of actions carried out during Operation 'Lion's Roar,' aimed at broad and continuous damage to all the regime's foundations. The IDF will not allow the Iranian regime to obtain nuclear weapons."
