The IDF began targeting eastern Gaza in response to an IED attack, according to Shin (@hey_itsmyturn).

In the quoted post, Emanuel Fabian (@manniefabian) reported that an explosive device had struck an unmanned IDF engineering vehicle in the northern Gaza Strip. The military said the incident caused no injuries.

Fabian also cited Palestinian media reports of Israeli strikes in Gaza City shortly afterward, apparently in response to the incident.
