The day before yesterday (Wednesday), the Air Force attacked in Tehran with combined intelligence guidance from Aman, the Mossad, and Shin Bet, and eliminated Mehdi Rastami Sh'mastaan, a central commander in the Iranian Ministry of Intelligence. Sh'mastaan was considered a key figure in promoting terrorist activities against Israeli and Jewish citizens in Israel and around the world, and in recent years worked to carry out attacks and establish terrorist infrastructures. The Ministry constitutes the central intelligence body of the Iranian terror regime, and serves as one of its central mechanisms of oppression and terror. Sh'mastaan's elimination joins a series of eliminations of dozens of senior officials in the Iranian terror regime, including other commanders in the Ministry of Intelligence, who have been eliminated throughout the war.
