U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) disputed a public claim by Iran’s foreign minister that Iran had not attacked civilians in neighboring countries.

CENTCOM stated:

CENTCOM alleged that Iranian forces have killed more than 20 civilian mariners in recent months and intentionally attacked civilian infrastructure, neighborhoods, and other facilities in neighboring Gulf countries.
