Sh1n reposted the following report from @DefenceGeek about U.S. Strategic Command operations during Exercise Global Thunder 27.

A pair of B-52H "Stratofortress" bombers departed Minot AFB (KMIB) on the night of October 23 as "HUSH11" and "HUSH12" for a STRATCOM exercise flight to northern Europe. Due to an unspecified mechanical fault, only "HUSH11" continued the sortie.

The bomber initially refueled in AR-62E with three KC-46A tankers operating as the "FLAM67" flight from Pease (KPSM). It then proceeded east and met the "LAGER10" flight from RAF Mildenhall (EGUN) on the morning of October 24.
