Under Operation Economic Outcast, OFAC designated India-based 𝐒𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐞𝐥 𝐊𝐮𝐦𝐚𝐫 𝐒𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐦𝐚 and 𝐉𝐚𝐬𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐭 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐭𝐢 𝐒𝐡𝐚𝐡𝐢𝐝 and their maritime fraud network for providing false flags and fake certifications to Iran’s shadow fleet, including vessels tied to Iranian petroleum shipments. OFAC also designated Türkiye-based 𝐅𝐮𝐠𝐨 𝐆𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐬 𝐈𝐧𝐜 for ground handling services to sanctioned Iranian airlines.
