Yemen’s Presidential Leadership Council chairman, Dr. Rashed Al Alimi, announced the start of military operations aimed at recovering the remaining territory of the Republic and extending the authority of state institutions across the country.

Al Alimi said:

Today, I announce the start of military operations to recover what remains of the Republic’s territory and extend the authority of the state and its institutions across the entire national territory.

We have issued directives to the armed forces, security forces, and all military formations to begin carrying out their assigned duties according to the approved plan until the country is liberated from the grip of terrorist militias.
