The IDF said Ismail Ibrahim Darwish Kandil participated in the killing of Nahal Brigade Commander Colonel Yonatan Steinberg and was recently planning further attacks.

The terrorist infiltrated Israel & took part in the killing of the Nahal Brigade Commander, Colonel Yonatan Steinberg, during the October 7 Massacre.
Recently, the terrorist advanced attacks against IDF troops and Israeli civilians and operated to restore Hamas’ capabilities. He was eliminated in order to remove the threat he posed.
