Sh1n reposted a report from @DefenceGeek stating that Coronet East 117 tried again but failed to complete its planned movement on the morning of November 3.

According to the report, two F-15E aircraft with “SJ” tail markings from the 4th Fighter Wing, which had remained in the UK since the previous month, attempted to continue their journey home to the United States. The fighters reportedly canceled after the supporting tankers were already airborne and en route.

The attached map showed the flight plan filed for the first tanker.

DefenceGeek added that the unit’s other 10 aircraft returned home on October 3.
