Clarification: The below estimate is in reference to the Strait of Hormuz crude flow rate. As you can see, our latest estimate indicates a 7-day average of around 13.1 million bpd vs a pre-war baseline of around 17.1 million bpd. #OOTT

The clarification accompanied Bakr’s earlier post about the recovery in Gulf oil exports:

Yes there’s been a recovery of oil exports from the Gulf region, but we are not back to prewar levels. Kpler estimates September exports from key Middle East producers at 12.8 million bpd their highest since the war began, versus 18.8 million bpd in February, that’s roughly a 6 million bpd shortfall. #OOTT
