Yesterday (18th March 2026) while the US bomber fleet at RAF Fairford (EGVA) was taking a break, a mission was quietly launched from the mainland US - today after some OSINT investigative work, we now know that they never made it to Iran, for reasons that remain unclear, and returned to the US. Shoutout to @RuiPinto_FL who picked up on this bomber mission's comms with Portugese air traffic controllers (see my reply to this post for those comms!)
