Baghaei said Iran remains prepared to respond to aggression and will continue pursuing diplomacy despite its lack of optimism about the United States.
Baghaei, spokesperson for the Iranian negotiating team, said in an exclusive interview with IRIB's news channel:
"Mediator messages continue; defense and crushing-response readiness against any aggression is at its highest.
Past experience rules out optimism on US diplomacy, but Iran will still pursue it."
