A senior Houthi commander, Gen. Firaq Mohsen al-Assar was killed with six of his guards on the Kahboub front near the Bab al-Mandab Strait.

Al-Assar commanded the Houthis’ 1st Commando Brigade and previously fought on the #Marib front.
