A report by @manniefabian, reposted by @hey_itsmyturn, said the IDF had announced that a Palestinian Islamic Jihad rocket-launching operative was killed in an Israeli strike in the southern Gaza Strip.

The strike in Khan Younis killed Bilal Mahmoud Suleiman Samiri, whom the IDF identified as a member of Islamic Jihad's rocket array.

The IDF said Samiri was involved in advancing attacks:

"in systematic violation of the ceasefire,"

The military also said he took part in:

"ambushes targeting IDF troops"

The IDF added:

"The terrorist was eliminated to remove the threat he posed."
