Sh1n reposted a report by @manniefabian stating that the Israeli military had announced the death of a Hamas sniper commander in an airstrike in the southern Gaza Strip on Thursday.

According to the IDF, the strike in Khan Younis killed Moamen Jabr Al-Sayed Abu Labda, commander of a Hamas sniper cell in the group's Rafah Brigade.

The IDF said Abu Labda:

"carried out sniper training across the Gaza Strip"

The military said the training was intended to prepare for attacks and that Abu Labda also attempted to restore Hamas capabilities:

"in systematic violation of the ceasefire."
