Sh1n reposted a report from @manniefabian stating that the IDF and Shin Bet announced the death of Hamas commander Muhammad Hamad Muhammad Ghabain in an Israeli strike in the Gaza Strip last week.

The agencies said the Tuesday strike in northern Gaza killed Ghabain, who was involved in holding hostages Ziv Berman, Gali Berman, Eitan Mor, Liri Albag, Agam Berger, Matan Angrest, Omri Miran, Keith Siegel and Alon Ohel in captivity.

According to the IDF, Ghabain had recently been involved in advancing attacks against Israeli troops and civilians and restoring Hamas capabilities:

"in systematic violation of the ceasefire,"

The IDF added that he was killed to:

"remove the threat he posed."
