The Israel Defense Forces reported that a Hezbollah cell operating near Israeli troops in southern Lebanon was targeted in an airstrike earlier today.
According to the IDF, soldiers from the Commando Brigade identified the operatives riding motorcycles in the village of al-Aaqaide, near Nabatieh and close to Israel's buffer zone.
The military stated:
The terrorists' activity posed a threat to our forces
adding that they were struck:
to remove the threat.
No further details on casualties or the aftermath were provided.
