14-15 JULY | IRANIAN ATTACKS: SOURCE CHECK

Confirmed regional toll: 1 killed, 12 injured.

  • Kuwait: 1 ballistic missile, 5 cruise missiles and 33 UAVs engaged. Material damage reported; 4 Kuwaiti naval personnel injured.
  • Jordan: 7 Iranian missiles intercepted across two mornings. No casualties or damage reported.
  • Bahrain: Several Iranian aerial attacks intercepted. No casualties or damage reported by the cutoff.
  • Omani waters: Al Bahyah and Mombasa B struck by Iranian cruise missiles. 1 Indian seafarer killed; 8 crew injured.

Geolocated footage shows a Shahed-type UAV striking a warehouse near Mina Abdullah, Kuwait. Its alleged US military role remains unverified.

No public evidence currently confirms the IRGC’s claimed destruction of MQ-9s, F-15/F-16/F-35 aircraft, Patriot or HIMARS systems, or US Fifth Fleet facilities.

CENTCOM’s figure of 7 ships attacked and nearly a dozen civilians killed, missing or injured covers the previous 7 days, not 14-15 July alone.

Assessment: Attacks confirmed. Most IRGC battle-damage claims remain unverified.
