At 0800Z on August 1, 2026, the Kuwait Army reported that its armed forces detected hostile drones in Kuwaiti airspace since dawn and engaged and destroyed them.

The official spokesman for the Ministry of Defense, Colonel Staff Saud Abdulaziz Al-Atwan, stated:

Statement No. (82)
The armed forces monitored, since dawn today, hostile drones inside Kuwaiti airspace, and they were engaged and destroyed.
He added that the sinful Iranian aggression targeted a number of vital facilities.

The announcement was made via the Kuwait Army's official account.
