This is a dated public-source assessment. Red and blue were adapted from the 11 January 2026 national map and checked against subsequent regional reporting. They are not a surveyed contact line for 7 September.

Active districts retain the dated January colors beneath report outlines; local battles do not erase whole districts from the historical overview. Current edges remain unresolved where noted. Gray covers areas unassigned by the source overview or boundary matching. Hays is shown separately as reported government control; much of it was already held. Orange and purple borders are administrative locators, never captured perimeters.

Government and aligned forces are grouped for the national view. The color does not imply a single command chain. No cumulative land-loss percentage or square-kilometre figure is established.
